What keeps women of third world countries in desperation?

the control of the west over their resources is what keeps 3rd world countries in desperation. as for the women it's usually the men in those countries that want a quick buck today to not care about tommorow. The Bush foundation is a joke. you can't help women in a country where the men by their religion keep them in oppression. it's a waste of money to try. Curropt goverments and a system that works against such foundations will prevent anything from fixing it other then letting them drown and beg for help on our terms. The money would be better spent on countries that really want to change.
