Felix Pet Question!!?

Ok so I have been DYING for a cat forever! But my dad is allergic and refuses to even listen to the word cat! But i just heard about Allerca kittens that are like 4,000 dollars. Then I heard about Felix Pets which is something similar but the process is different. I read that they will be selling in 2008 but on the website I can't find the price! Can someone tell me ANYTHING about living with a kitten and having someone be allergic? Or any information on the felix kittens? Thank you soooooo much!
