Money dues for school?

i'm going into tenth grade and i need to pay some money to my school to have a couple books rebound that were slightly damaged, not too bad, i don't know why i had to pay, well, school starts in 2 days and i waited till now, the beginning of the year to pay. who do i pay it to? my guidance counseler? and when do i go pay? the first day? because i know if i don't pay, i won't get a schedule for the school year. should i ask my homeroom teacher if i can go to my guidance counseler to pay my dues on the first day?
