Why is it that when asked for evidence for creationism, creationists don't present any, but instead...?

I am completely dumbfounded by the insistence of many unbelievers to ask questions similar to the above questions. Why must they be indifferent to the billion or so believers that exist presently all over the world. Why are they trying to find loop holes in what is accepted by humanity as fact and is there ,for the common good ? Is anything that shows love, kindness, understanding and care for others painful to accept? Do you prefer a world inhabited by devils, monsters or reptiles more suitable to live in? Why must some do the opposite of what the many are enjoying and making themselves happy ? What sort of person prefers pain to be his objective in life?
