Why do Tea Party candidates think they only have to be vetted by their own news station?

THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE TO All THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, even if they do not like what people say about them. I think the Tea Party should think about this the next time they vet and slander Obama and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi....THE SAME RULES SHOULD BE FOR BOTH or do the Tea Party candidates get special perks because they are too ignorant to answer to a free press...???
