Can I sue for Innaccuracies in my credit report?

My dad and I have the same first and last name. middle names are different and obviously ssn's are different. My parents collection items have shown up on my credit report. ive disputed them once but a lot have reappeared. I consider this negligence since its obvious that it is not my social security number on these accounts. This is affecting my credit score and ability to get loans I need.
